How many items are in the Build an Ant Empire shop?
Eleven. Four speed jellies, six mutation potions (Leaf, Bubblegum, Candy, Rainbow, Petal, Starlight), and the Mutation Removal Potion. The shop is in the center of the map.
This Build an Ant Empire items page is the Items Shop catalog for Roblox Place 78490532994307 by Insect Kingdom studio. The shop is in the center of the map. Public notes list 11 one-time items: four speed jellies, six mutation potions, and one mutation removal potion. Verified September 30, 2026. Play on Roblox.
Every row spends Cash once and then is used once. Jellies raise movement speed on the equipped ant for a timer. Mutation potions write an efficiency multiplier onto an ant you choose. None of these replace Egg Luck, Egg Rolls, colony slots, or the ant on the Queen podium. Those stay first. Shop suffixes: K thousand, M million, B billion, T trillion, Qa quadrillion, Qi quintillion. If your button disagrees, the button wins.

Look to the middle of the map. That is where notes place the Items Shop. It is a separate stop from the Ant Queen, the collection station, and the Sell station. You still earn the Cash by placing ants, picking up food boxes, and selling those boxes. The shop only spends what that loop already printed.
Each of the 11 items has one job, and the purchase is consumed when you use it. There is no confirmed rental, no confirmed resale, and no confirmed way to undo a jelly once the timer starts. The removal potion is the undo for mutations only, at another $100K. Stock limits and restock timers are TBA — if the row is greyed out, it is greyed out, and this page will not invent a refresh clock.

A speed jelly starts a timer the moment it hits the equipped ant: 5, 10, or 15 minutes depending on the row. When the timer ends, move speed returns. A mutation potion has no duration in the notes. Leaf through Starlight stay on the ant until you remove them or you stop using that ant. Buying a jelly “to mutate” does nothing to efficiency.
Jelly text in the notes says the equipped ant’s movement speed. It does not say every ant in every slot gets the buff. Equip the ant you are about to run with, use the jelly, then do the collect-and-sell lap before the timer ends. Standing in the shop while a 5-minute jelly ticks is the common waste.
Speed jellies are a carrying tool. Food boxes spawn at the collection station; you haul them to the Sell station. Faster movement shortens that walk. It does not, on any confirmed note, raise the ant’s food efficiency. If your income problem is weak ants, a jelly will only help you sell the same small boxes sooner.
The price ladder is steep on purpose. Normal jelly is an early convenience. Strong jelly at $100M already sits next to mid-game mutation money. Super and Prismatic are late-session movement, priced like permanent potions. Buy a jelly when you are about to play the lap, not when you are about to log out.

| Jelly | Price | Move speed | Duration | When it fits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Normal Speed Jelly | $10K | 1.3x | 5 minutes | Early laps, if $10K is truly spare |
| Strong Speed Jelly | $100M | 1.6x | 10 minutes | Mid colony, long collect routes |
| Super Speed Jelly | $10T | 2x | 15 minutes | Late laps only |
| Prismatic Speed Jelly | $100Qa | 2.5x | 15 minutes | After Starlight-scale Cash exists |
Normal jelly lasts 5 minutes at 1.3x. Pop it at the collection station, clear the boxes, sell, and repeat until the timer is gone. Opening the Queen menu and reading Luck ranks during those minutes spends the buff on menus. Strong jelly gives you 10 minutes at 1.6x; Super and Prismatic give 15 minutes at 2x and 2.5x. The longer timer still wants you on the route, not in a shop tab.
Training an ant into a mount removes it from production whether the train succeeds or fails, and the ride is only slightly faster than walking. A $10K jelly is a 5-minute 1.3x on an ant you keep. The mount spends the worker. If the goal is a quicker walk between boxes and the Sell station, the jelly is the tool that leaves the slot filled. Teleport home already covers the long return.
The six mutation potions and the removal potion are the permanent side of the shop. Prices and multipliers match the mutations page one for one. Buy a single tier, apply it, and read the food boxes before you look at the next suffix. Candy at $50B is not “the next Leaf.” The suffix changed.
Removal at $100K is the odd row: it is cheaper than Leaf and it deletes value instead of adding it. Carry the rule from the mutations page — remove only when a replacement potion is already affordable and the ant is a keeper. Full multiplier ranking: mutations.
| Potion | Price | Result | Relative to the previous row |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mutation Removal Potion | $100K | Clears the current mutation | Cheaper than Leaf; not an upgrade |
| Leaf Mutation Potion | $1M | 1.35x efficiency | First real multiplier |
| Bubblegum Mutation Potion | $5M | 1.75x efficiency | 5× the Leaf price |
| Candy Mutation Potion | $50B | 2x efficiency | Suffix jump into billions |
| Rainbow Mutation Potion | $100B | 2.25x efficiency | 2× Candy’s price for a small multiplier step |
| Petal Mutation Potion | $500T | 3x efficiency | Into trillions |
| Starlight Mutation Potion | $5.1Qi | 5x efficiency | Top row; keep the .1 |
Apply the potion to the placed ant you intend to keep. Stacking is unverified, so the mental model is one mutation name on that ant. If a second potion might overwrite or might refuse, test that on a spare you can lose, or pay $100K to remove the first mutation before you apply the second. Do not test Starlight.
Notes recommend the expensive potions for high-rarity ants. The starter Common worker is a food tutor, not a Starlight target. You still do not need a fake species list to obey that: use the best rarity label you can see on an ant you will not replace, and leave the Qi potion until that ant’s boxes already fund the purchase without touching your Queen reserve. Ant side of the same choice: ants.
The shop is a second investment. The first investment is the colony loop. Public early order: get a stronger ant, raise Egg Luck, raise Egg Rolls, keep Cash for the podium, and stabilize slots plus the food line before you shop. A $10K jelly can sneak in beside that order. A $1M Leaf potion should not sneak in ahead of it.
Food Value and ant speed upgrades live on the upgrade board, not in this 11-row list. They are easy to confuse with jellies because both talk about speed and about food. The board upgrade is a lasting colony purchase whose per-level price is TBA. The jelly is a timer. If you are choosing between an unpriced board rank and a jelly, read the board cost first on upgrades.
If codes lists a working string, recaps describe it as a timed Cash Boost of about 15 minutes, with a Sep 29 versus Sep 30 disagreement on whether one code is live. Redeem at the start of a selling session. The boost does not discount Starlight, and it does not add an extra shop item. It multiplies the Cash you earn while you haul boxes.
An unused potion is Cash that has left the podium. Buy the item when you are ready to use it on a named target — a specific ant, a specific lap. The egg side of that reserve is spelled out on eggs. The first-hour version of the same order is the beginner guide.
Waste here means Cash that does not change the next Sell trip. The catalog is short enough that the bad buys repeat: a timer you do not play through, a mutation on an ant you will bench, a removal with no replacement, and a late suffix bought because the multiplier looks round.
| Buy | Why it stalls | Better use of that Cash |
|---|---|---|
| Prismatic jelly at $100Qa early | 2.5x move speed cannot create food the ants are not making | Slots, Luck, a keeper ant |
| Starlight on a replaceable Common | $5.1Qi walks away when you bench the ant | Leaf on a keeper, much later |
| Rainbow immediately after Candy | 2x → 2.25x for another $50B | More ants or Food Value ranks you can read |
| Removal “just in case” | $100K with nothing to apply after | Podium reserve |
| Any jelly while AFK | The timer ends with you standing still | Use it on a live lap or skip it |
| Second mutation hoping they add | Stack result is TBA | One potion, then watch the label |
Offline and AFK income are unconfirmed for this Place. A speed jelly is definitely a timer, so an unattended client burns it. Mutations at least stay on the ant if you applied them while you were present. Prefer the permanent potion over the jelly when you are about to leave, and only on an ant that remains placed.
This catalog is the 11 rows in the glance table. When Insect Kingdom studio adds another item, it will show on the center-map board first. Until then, match your Cash to Leaf, Bubblegum, Candy, Rainbow, Petal, or Starlight — or to a jelly whose timer you will actually run.
Rank the six multipliers before you pay the suffix on mutations. Put unspent Cash into Luck, Rolls, slots, Food Value, and ant speed on upgrades.
The ant you are buffing still comes from the Queen podium: eggs. Slot and rarity context: ants. Timed boost strings: codes. First Sell trip: beginner guide.
Eleven. Four speed jellies, six mutation potions (Leaf, Bubblegum, Candy, Rainbow, Petal, Starlight), and the Mutation Removal Potion. The shop is in the center of the map.
The purchase is one-time. Speed jellies last 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Mutation potions apply an efficiency multiplier that stays until you remove it or stop using that ant. Removal costs another $100K.
Normal Speed Jelly at $10K: equipped ant move speed 1.3x for 5 minutes. It is the only row that sits near early-game Cash.
Starlight Mutation Potion is listed at $5.1Qi and applies a 5x efficiency multiplier. Keep the decimal. It is an end-state buy for a high-rarity ant you will keep.
No. Jellies change movement speed on the equipped ant for a timer. Mutation potions write the efficiency multiplier. They are separate rows.
Upgrades and the Queen podium come first: a stronger ant, Egg Luck, Egg Rolls, and a stable food line. Treat the shop as the second wallet. A spare $10K jelly is the exception, not the rule.
Unverified. Plan for one mutation per ant. Use the $100K removal potion when you need a clean target before applying a better potion.
