How do you play Build an Ant Empire?
Buy the ant at the Ant Queen, place it in a colony slot, pick up food boxes at the collection station, and sell them at the Sell station. Spend Cash on ants, slots, Egg Luck, Egg Rolls, Food Value, and ant speed.
This Build an Ant Empire beginner guide is the first session on Roblox Place 78490532994307, built by Insect Kingdom studio and listed as Build An Ant Empire. The official line is short: “Roll new ants, collect food, earn money, upgrade your colony, and unlock powerful new ants.” In practice that means the Ant Queen shows an ant you can buy, you place it in a colony slot, it makes food boxes at the collection station, and you sell those boxes at the Sell station for Cash. Cash buys more ants, more slots, and the upgrades that make the next trip worth more.
You start with one slot. Extra slots cost Cash, and the price rises as you buy them. Exact slot prices, hatch odds, and the full species list are unpublished, so this page does not invent them. It also does not borrow pet names from an older ride game. Ants Empire by @1Spam and Pocket Ants are different experiences. Confirm the join card is Place 78490532994307 before you learn a layout. The first minutes are a walk between a few stations, not a combat tutorial and not a pet-index hunt. Default controls in public notes are W A S D to move, Space to jump, and E to interact. The HUD labels win if a prompt uses a different bind on your device.
If you are going to try a code, do it in this window, after an ant is placed and before you wander. The only candidate is wnus13, a listed 15-minute Cash Boost, and Destructoid on September 30, 2026 said no code was active. One Redeem in Settings is enough. The click path is on how to redeem codes. Then ignore codes and run the loop below.

Learn four spots before you memorize the Items Shop. The Ant Queen is where ants appear for purchase. The colony slots are where a purchased ant has to sit before it works. The collection station is where food boxes show up. The Sell station is where boxes become Cash. The Items Shop sits toward the middle of the map in public notes, and it can wait until the four-station loop has paid you at least once.
One slot, and a Queen podium that public guides describe as opening on a Common ant. You buy that ant. Notes suggest the roll itself may not carry a posted price, while taking the ant does cost Cash. If your HUD shows a number on the roll, pay what the HUD says. This guide will not overwrite a live price with a guessed one.
Once the slot is filled, the next section is the purchase itself, because an ant in your hands and an ant in a slot are different objects.
Talk to the Ant Queen. She is the egg source. A Common ant is the documented starter. You purchase the ant the podium is offering, then you place it into the open slot on the colony. Until it is placed, it is not making food. The colony begins with that single slot. Every slot after it is a Cash purchase, and each one costs more than the last. The curve itself is unpublished, so buy the next slot when the Sell station has clearly paid for it, not because a thumbnail said “slot 4 is cheap.”
Rarity is the shortcut public notes give you for production. Higher rarity is described as higher food value. The names of those rarities above Common, and the names of the ant species, are not in a verified HUD roster. The ants page keeps that list TBA on purpose. Place the Common, earn, then replace it when the Queen offers something the HUD marks as better. Do not wait for a wiki row that does not exist yet.

| Step | Where | What “done” looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Roll / view the egg | Ant Queen | An ant is offered on the podium |
| Buy | Same podium | Cash drops and the ant is yours to place |
| Place | Colony slot | The free slot is occupied |
| Wait for work | Collection station | A food box appears for you to pick up |
| Expand later | Slot purchase | A second slot exists and the price was higher |
The early trap is spending the first payout on a shop jelly before the Queen’s next ant is affordable. Normal Speed Jelly is “only” $10K and lasts 5 minutes at 1.3x move speed, and it is still a consumable. A better ant sits in a slot until you replace it. Egg Luck and Egg Rolls are the upgrades aimed at that next ant. Public early-priority notes put stronger ants, Egg Luck, and Egg Rolls ahead of high-priced items. Hold a Cash buffer so the podium does not offer an upgrade you cannot buy.
You do not need a full roster to learn the sell route. One placed ant produces. Your job is the walk. When that walk feels slow, the fix is another slot or a better ant, not a mount. Placement is the whole trick, and the next section is what you do with the box that placement creates.
Placed ants produce food. The food shows up as boxes at the collection station. You pick a box up, carry it to the Sell station, and the sell pays Cash. Ants do not walk the Cash to your pocket in the loop these notes describe. If you stand at the Queen and wait, the boxes wait too. The route is the game.
Two upgrades talk directly to this trip. Food Value is the upgrade aimed at what a box is worth when you sell it. Ant speed is the upgrade aimed at how the workers move. Whether a separate speed jelly also raises box rate is unpublished, so treat jelly as a move-speed consumable and treat the ant-speed upgrade as the permanent lever. Colony expansion is the third growth upgrade, beside slots. None of these have a published price table yet. Buy the next rank when you can read the cost on the HUD and still have Cash left for the Queen.

| Station | Your action | If you skip it |
|---|---|---|
| Colony slot | Keep an ant placed | No production from that slot |
| Collection station | Pick up food boxes | Boxes sit and Cash does not move |
| Sell station | Sell the boxes | You are carrying product, not spending power |
| Ant Queen | Buy the next ant you can afford | The roster stays on the opener |
| Upgrade controls | Food Value, ant speed, slots, Luck, Rolls | Income stays flat while prices rise |
wnus13 is listed as 15 minutes of Cash Boost, and it starts the moment Redeem succeeds. Redeem at the start of this sell route, with the slot filled. Sportskeeda calls it a percentage boost and does not print the percent, so this guide will not either. If Settings rejects the string, the route above is the whole income. Details and the expired pair xn287hx / nuwnxx2 live on codes.
There is a teleport-home control in public notes. Use it to get back to the colony. It does not sell a box for you, and it is the reason a mount is optional. Finish a few sell trips so you know the distance, then look at upgrades. The potion shop is the wrong first purchase, which is the next decision.
Spend early Cash in this order: the next ant on the Queen podium if it is clearly better, Egg Luck, Egg Rolls, the next slot when the rising price still looks payable from a few sell trips, then Food Value and ant speed. That order comes from public early-priority notes, not from a hidden formula. Egg Luck is the upgrade for better rarity odds. Egg Rolls is the upgrade for more rolls or more roll chances. Exact percents and the pity rules, if any, are TBA. Read the HUD rank you are about to buy.
Mutation potions are Items Shop goods, one-time, applied to an ant. They are real, and they are the wrong first wallet. High potions belong on a high-rarity ant you intend to keep. A starter Common is a worker you are hoping to replace. Removal costs $100K and clears a mutation, which is cheaper than Leaf and still not a reason to mutate the ant you might delete.
| Item | Price | Effect | When a new colony buys it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal Speed Jelly | $10K | 1.3x move speed · 5 min | After the loop is stable, if at all |
| Mutation Removal | $100K | Clears a mutation | Only to undo a potion you regret |
| Leaf Mutation Potion | $1M | Leaf · 1.35x | First keeper you will not mount-train |
| Bubblegum Mutation Potion | $5M | Bubblegum · 1.75x | Same keeper, later |
| Strong Speed Jelly | $100M | 1.6x move speed · 10 min | Temporary · not a rarity replacement |
| Candy Mutation Potion | $50B | Candy · 2x | High rarity only |
| Rainbow Mutation Potion | $100B | Rainbow · 2.25x | High rarity only |
| Super Speed Jelly | $10T | 2x move speed · 15 min | Late convenience |
| Petal Mutation Potion | $500T | Petal · 3x | High rarity only |
| Prismatic Speed Jelly | $100Qa | 2.5x move speed · 15 min | Late convenience |
| Starlight Mutation Potion | $5.1Qi | Starlight · 5x | The keeper you will not replace |
The shop list in public notes is these 11 items and no others we will pretend to know. Four are speed jellies: temporary move speed on an equipped ant. Six are mutation potions with the multipliers above. One is Removal. Jellies expire. Mutations stay until you remove them. Whether a second potion overwrites, stacks, or fails is unpublished. Removal is the documented way to clear one. Full shop context is the items page when that table is the thing you came for; the decision here is simply “not yet.”
Leaf at $1M is 1.35x on one ant. Egg Luck and Egg Rolls change the ants you are offered after that, which is the whole collection game. A 1.35x on a Common you replace tomorrow is a sunk $1M. A better roll is the ant you would have wanted the potion on. Slot prices rise, so a second worker can outrun a small multiplier too, once the HUD price is something your sell trips cover. The upgrade page will hold the buy-order detail: upgrades. Queen mechanics sit on eggs.
Leave mount training until you have a spare ant. You hand an ant to the Mount NPC. Training can succeed or fail. In both cases that ant leaves production. You do not get a “failed, ant returned to the slot” outcome in the notes this guide trusts. The mount you might receive is only slightly faster than walking, and the game already lets you teleport home. The mount is a movement flavor, not an economy unit.
If you later train a mount, train a duplicate you have already replaced, never the only ant in your only slot, and never the high-rarity ant you just spent a potion on. Success rates are unpublished. There is no reason to roll the dice while the free slot is your entire income.
The walk that matters is collection station to Sell station, repeated. A body that moves slightly faster does not collect the box for you, and losing the worker stops the box from appearing. Teleport home when you are disoriented. Stay on foot for the sell loop until a spare ant exists.
A Leaf-through-Starlight multiplier is an investment in a worker that stays placed. The moment that ant enters mount training, the multiplier leaves the economy with it. Removal at $100K cannot undo a training submit. Keep potion targets and mount candidates as different ants, once you have more than one. Species names for either role are still TBA on ants.
The stalls are all the same shape: Cash or a worker leaves the loop before the loop has paid for a replacement. New players hit them in a predictable order. None of them require a secret mechanic. They require skipping a station you already walked past.
| Mistake | What it costs | Do this instead |
|---|---|---|
| Empty slot | No food boxes | Place the Queen’s ant before you shop |
| Redeem after you are done playing | A 15-minute buff with no sells | Redeem at session start, or skip codes |
| Leaf on the Common starter | $1M for 1.35x on an ant you will replace | Egg Luck, Egg Rolls, next ant |
| Starlight curiosity | $5.1Qi you do not have | Ignore the row until a keeper exists |
| Mount-training the only worker | Production ends, success or fail | Teleport home and keep the slot filled |
| Copying another game’s codes | A reject, or a ban if it was a script | wnus13 once, then stop |
| Waiting on a full ant roster | A session with no sells | Play Common now; names stay TBA |
If a guide mentions ride potions, a nest on a plot, or a radar shop, it is not this Place. If it invites you to a Discord for Ants Empire by @1Spam, that invite is not Insect Kingdom studio’s. This game has no verified official Discord as of September 30, 2026. Stay on Place 78490532994307 and the stations in the checklist above.
Boring is the goal of minute ten: Queen, slot, box, Sell, without reading. The moment that route is boring, open upgrades and buy Luck or Rolls, then come back and sell again. Mutations are a later page, for the ant you have decided to keep. That decision is the ants page, still without a fake species list.
Try codes once at the start of the next session, then how to redeem if you have not opened Settings yet.
Read ants for slots, the Common label, and the TBA species table before you trust a tier list.
Put the next Cash into Egg Luck and Egg Rolls on upgrades, then the Queen on eggs.
Open mutations only after you have a keeper you will not hand to the Mount NPC.
Buy the ant at the Ant Queen, place it in a colony slot, pick up food boxes at the collection station, and sell them at the Sell station. Spend Cash on ants, slots, Egg Luck, Egg Rolls, Food Value, and ant speed.
One. Extra slots cost Cash, and the price rises. Exact prices are not published on this page.
A better ant if the Queen is offering one you can afford, then Egg Luck and Egg Rolls. Save Leaf ($1M, 1.35x) for a keeper.
No. This is Insect Kingdom studio’s Build an Ant Empire, Place 78490532994307. Ants Empire by @1Spam is a different experience, with a different Discord.
Unpublished as of September 30, 2026. Common is the named starter rarity. Species names stay TBA on the ants page. Do not import names from other games.
Once, at session start, after the first ant is placed. Pocket Tactics and Sportskeeda list a 15-minute Cash Boost. Destructoid on September 30, 2026 listed no active codes. If it fails, play the loop anyway.
